Change Main Database Credentials
Once the main database for RapidIdentity has been installed, configure the main credentials that RapidIdentity will use to connect to the database.
To accomplish this, first navigate to the RapidIdentity Main Menu and go into the RapidIdentity menu item.
Navigate to Main Database and press Enter.
In the next screen that displays, if necessary, navigate to Username and press Enter.
Note
The username must match the credentials of those associated with the database to be used.
Enter a valid username and press Enter.
You will see a notification that The change will not take effect until RapidIdentity is restarted. Click OK to return to the Main Database menu.
From the Main Database menu, navigate to Password and press Enter.
Enter the password for the associated database and ensure you keep the information in a secure location where it will not be lost or forgotten. Press Enter.
Once again, you will receive a notification that The change will not take effect until RapidIdentity is restarted. Press Enter to continue.
Navigate back to the RapidIdentity Main Menu, then go to Menu Item 8, Shutdown/Reboot.
Highlight Reboot and press Enter.
Press Enter to confirm reboot.
The system will reboot. Log back in with the
config
credentials.
