Browse
The Browse tab allows Folders Admins, Operators, or Auditors to search for users or groups.
The table interface displays results from the Search function. There are multiple ways to search.
Note
Once the search results are displayed, multiple users can be selected and then added to the Backlog together.
By Name: Enter the first name, last name, or username of the user or users to be found and press Enter or click Search. The search results will show below.
Advanced Search: Click the checkbox next to Advanced Search to activate two more fields. You can also choose whether to Include Sub-Containers in the search parameters.
Note
To search for a specific type of user within a large user population, the two methods can be combined.
Filter: Click the Magnifying Glass to open an LDAP Builder. Use the auto-complete feature to build an LDAP attribute to search for one or more users. Click Update to commit the search. You can also type directly into the field on the main screen.
Note
If the Update button does not activate once the attribute has been fully built, click in the grey area of the window.
Base DN: Click the Magnifying Glass to open an LDAP Containers tree and select the required DN. Click Select to commit the search. You can also type directly into the field on the main screen.
Once all search parameters have been entered, click Search. The results will display below.
The Details pane for each line item, when selected, displays relevant LDAP filters, unique ID, last processed date, drive letter, and home drive location. This information should match information found in the User Policies and Group Policies modules.
